Transfer fees are paid to the Land and Surveys Department in order for the property to be transferred and registered in the purchaser’s name and are circulated as follows:

The following apply:
a) No transfer fees are applicable for property purchasers who pay VAT on the purchase.
b) A discount transfer fee of 50% is applicable for properties that are not subject to VAT.
